The sword has a curved, single and false-edged blade of Damascus steel, with a “T”-back, decorated with inscriptions in Arabic and gold floral motifs. The gilt copper hilt and scabbard are decorated with cabochon corals and turquoises on the entire front surface, while the rear side of the scabbard is embossed with floral motifs and enriched with corals and turquoises at the bands. The scabbard has two suspension rings.
