The halbert has thin crescent-shaped axe blade and large beak, pierced with geometric and heart designs; passing trough the pierced conical ferrule and riveted in place. It features a broad leaf-shaped 8” thrusting blade with shallow medial ridge and wide side lugs at the base. Its long integral side straps are mounted on the original round-section shaft, which is painted black while retaining its turned iron base shoe.
