Rare Italian Gunner’s Stiletto

- Measurements: overall in sheath 37.8cm, blade 25.7cm, including the bolster
The blade has a triangular section with incremented markings used for the measurement of cannon bores and turned iron bolster, olive-shaped pommel with flat baluster and undisturbed peen. The grip is made of horn of basically rounded square section, decorated with bone inlays, tiny brass nails and longitudinal grooves which originally contained wire inlays. The bronze ferrule open at the seam but still present. It features artfully filed bronze crossguard with flared finials.
