Small dagger – also called a Gozma, with straight blade and double edge which the Berbers of the Sahara and Sahel regions usually carry tied to an arm, or on the belt.
The hilt is shaped in ebony wood, covered in silver leaf and decorated with geometrical motifs. The sheath, also of ebony wood, displays the same type of ornamentation.
