Hunting-knives Set
- Dated: 1606 to 1607
- Material and technique: strong broad edged blade etched with brass, chased and gilded handles deer horns with turquoise trim.
- Measurement: total length of 51.6cm, blade length 37.8cm, blade width 6.8 cm, weight 949g.
A set composed of 3 hunting knives with sheath and cutlery. The set is decorated with more than 300 hunting rifles set turquoises and it belonged to Elector Christian II of Saxony. The corresponding hat cord is lost. The hunting-knife was used to free-cutting.
