English Rapier Sword 

Large example of a fine English cup hilt rapier dated circa 1610-1630. The blade is original and is unique because it is single edged. The fine silver work is almost all missing on the sword.

Traces are left intact on the hilt and pommel. The blade in Peter Finer’s book also is single edged and identical to shape and size. Handle has been professionally re-wrapped at some point.
